Poplin
Poplin Fabric: OEKO-TEX Cotton Poplin Fabric
Poplin is a lightweight cotton fabric with a fine, tight weave. It is absorbent, supple and slightly silky. To produce cotton poplin, weavers use a finer warp thread than weft thread. For mercerized cotton poplin, the cotton is treated to make the fabric more durable. It is commonly used for shirts, blouses, and dresses. Poplin is very pleasant to the touch and easy to iron. Tissus Price offers OEKO-TEX certified cotton poplin for children’s clothing. This plain or printed poplin is sold by the meter here.
You can also find a selection of over 3000 printed patterns made in France on OEKO-TEX mercerized cotton poplin.
