Discover here how to make a cushion with our Printed coupons 45x45 ! These prints are specially designed and designed for the production of duvet cover, tote-bags, bag or pocket.

In this tutorial, we will sew together only the duvet cover.

Sew a cushion cover

To achieve this Tuto Couture, we will need the following sewing material:

- 2 coupons 45x45 or a coupon 45x45 + a piece of fabric of your choice of 45cm on 45cm or a lot of 2 velvet coupons RAS

- a zipper of 45cm matching

- a pair of scissors

- A sewing machine with a zipper closure + a classic Zig Zag foot

- Assorted thread

Optional:

- 2cm Passpoil

- Airjob

First step: cutting

Get your pair of scissors and cut according to the dotted lines. Do not panic, sewing values are included in the boss. If you have chosen a fabric to the meter for the back of your cushion, draw a square of 45 cm and then cut it.

If you have a shift, you can overcome coupons for more cleanliness.

(Optional Step: Piping Plug)

Cut out the end of your passphill to about 3 cm.

Cross the cord that is inside to remove 3cm also.

Pins the Plitter throughout the face of your cushion starting on one side and not in an angle. You can use our multicolored clips to make your task easier. Crunch the ribbon in each angle to get perfect angles.

When you arrive at the end, cut the passpoil so that its end arrives at the beginning of the cord on the other end.

Open the Passpoil at the location you have decisive earlier, and fold the ribbon on 1cm. Drag the end of your piping inside the ribbon, and fold it around. You have a perfect finish of Passpoil!

Take your sewing machine now with a zipper / foot closure foot and matching wire.

Place your foot against the passpoil. Depending on the model of your machine you will need to move the needle so that it does not fit the foot, and that it is as close as possible to the cord on the inside of the Passpoil.

Start your sewing by a breakpoint and sew up to the first angle. Stop your seam in the middle of the angle. Plant your needle, raise the foot, then pivot your 90 degree coupon to align yourself next. Repeat all the cushion.

When you arrive at the end of your seam, perform a stop point again, then lift the needle up, raise the foot and pull your room back. Cut the wire; Your passpoil is installed!

Second step: laying the closure

Place your zipper place against place with the face of your cushion, on the bottom. Align the edge with the edge of the coupon and center the closure. Pin, then sew it using your zipper / foot closure foot. Always start your seam with a breakpoint.

When you arrive at the cursor level, plant the needle and then raise the foot, and move the cursor so that it is no longer in your way. Rest your foot, and resume your seam. Sew until the end of the closure and complete with a breakpoint.

Return your coupon to have the place facing you. Plate the seaming of your closing closure and perform a stitching a few millimeters from your closure. This will avoid having a closing that gets stuck in the sewing and give you a cleaner and over visual.

Repeat all the operations on the other side by paying attention to the meaning of your pattern. The closure is placed below.

Third step: Assembly of the cushion cover

Now that the closure is asked, we will be able to close the sides of our cushion.

Open the zipper, then fold your room to have the place inside. Pin on the 3 sides without closure.

If you put a piping, keep the foot with zipper on your machine. Otherwise, put the classic Zig Zag foot.

Start your seam at the zipper, in an angle. Think of making your stopping point, then sew until the first angle. In the same way as for the Passpoil, stop your seam in the middle of the angle, plant your needle, raise the foot, then pivot your 90 degree coupon to align yourself on the next side. Repeat all the cushion.

When you arrive at the end of your seam, perform a stop point again, then lift the needle up, raise the foot, and pull your room back and then cut the wire.

Fourth Step: Finishes

Get on your pair of scissors again and disintegrate all angles. This will avoid the extra thickness and guarantee clean and well returned angles.

Open the zipper, and return your cushion to the location. You can help you from your scissors to return the angles to the end.

Your cushion is over!
